I would suggest looking at Craigs list for "new" mowers. It seems like since the economy is down, there seems to be a LOT of mowers for sale with only 100 hours or less on them. By doing this, you let someone else take the depreciation hit and you still have new reliable gear?

Starting a new company and looking for advice in North Carolina

Use the AccuLawn system to drive customers to your website. Once the customers are on you site they can get an instant quote and sign up for the services that you offer. You can market through door hangers and tell the homeowner that they will receive a discount if they sign up online. Check out www.acculawnsystems.com. Also, see what the homeowner sees when receiving an instant bid at www.acculawncare.com.

Furthermore, we are offering this system to only one LCO per area. So once a LCO signs up for the area we will not be able to offer this technology to any other LCO in that area. This is a huge advantage to the LCO that is able to use this method in their area to gain new customers. Also, the LCO will be the only one posted as a provider on acculawncare.com. Check to see if your area is available by going to acculawnsystems.com and reserve your spot today.

Thankyou for your service. I am not sure how much experience you have running a business so I would suggest contacting SCORE and setting up an appointment about actually getting started. If possible ask about any mentoring programs available for your specific career. SCORE represents the orinigal been there and done that without squandering a lot of time and money. The service is Free and the investment of your time and effort should put you well on your way to a successful future career.
Best Regards

If you do not have a website to drive customers to, that's ok because we give you one when you sign up for acculawnsystems.com. Customers can go directly to your website and get and instant online quote based on you pricing. Only one LCO per area and they are going fast. See if your area is still available and receive a 30 day free trial with no obligation. Acculawnsystems.com and Acculawncare.com.

But if you dont have the funds, then it can be a good way of getting things going by pooling your resourses together. Eventually you both will probably go your seperate ways because you will have different ideas on how things should be done. I have seen this happen this way a few times in the past, and remained friends and even worked together on larger jobs to double the manpower.
