Hello all,

I was going to school, a couple weeks ago to mow the football field, got there and the mower wont start. Its a Kohler 25 (Horizontal) I have replaced the fule pump and filter. Which was one of the problems, its pumping gas. Yet it is turing over, but will not start. The air filter is clean. I am thing Carb prob maybe? What could it be?

Did you check the spark plug? Sometimes it's a simple as that...

All you need is air, fuel and spark. Sounds like you have air and fuel so check sparkplug for spark. I will bet it is a safety with a loose or disconnected wire.

Check fuses as well.

Also, use your multimeter to check that all your safety switches have voltage coming in and going out when the switch is made/closed.

WOW I totally forgot about spark. Thats what 4 illnesses in one week will do to you, thanks to all! I will test the spark plug tomorrow at school.

You got 3 out of 5....you also need timing and compression...
Probably something simple anyway....
