I was browsing the GIE+EXPO web site and found this:

"Honda Power Equipment will introduce their 2013 redesigned line up of residential and commercial lawn mowers and engines at GIE+EXPO 2012."

Does anyone know or want to guess what fabulous new technology they'll announce? Maybe they'll follow the lead of shaver mfgrs and come out with a 3-blade system.

I am almost willing to bet the new HRC will have a Nexite deck instead of a steel one. Not that is a bad thing, the one on the HRX mowers holds up really well. It might just be an HRX with an upgraded drive, wheels and engine.

If they are an improvement over the old HRC216 I might pick one up. I am a sucker for commercial 21 inch mowers.

Same here, I wish I could have an ExMark, yBravo, HRC, and Toro proline for my "collection". But I can only justify and afford one at a time.

Even if the Honda changes are minor, it might be enough to prompt me to go get a new one.

Same here. I hope it is a more dramatic change though, Honda has had the same residential mowers out for about 10 years now, and the HRC216 has been around for 7 years.

I have yet to see the Ybravo around here, although I could order one if I had the money. We have snappers here thought, I might have to pick that one up despite my family's protests

Maybe someone from the forum who attends the show will post some info on updates. I don't know when Honda will update their website, or whether they'll point out what's changed when they do update.

I'd go to the show and find out for first-hand, but that would take up most of the budget for getting a new one.

Do so, especially of the Exmark COmmercial 30 and the new Hondas.

Lol bought my Honda back in July. I wish the drive wheels were on the front rather than the rear. That's my only complaint with it.
