Kubota B7800, 2006 Won't Start with Key
I have a 2006 Kubota B7800, hydro.
I bush hogged a large field, got off the tractor to clean it, blew off the radiator with an air hose, got back on the tractor and it wouldn't start. I can jump start it with the solenoid, but it will not start with the key. I've checked the safety switches and fuses, no luck. Anyone have this problem or know how I can fix it? All the other forum's I've checked don't have an answer for me. Thanks |

Had the same issue with mine once. This may sound rediculous, but it worked for me. Move all of the pto and hi low range levers around until they find the neutral spot. If one is just a bit askew, the rig won't start. Hope this is all it is....

It sounds like a safety switch, it could also be corrosion in the ignition switch.

I just had problems with mine starting. Worked good one minute the next nothing. Ended up being a bad ground. The main one off the battery down to the frame. Cleaned it up and all good again.

but could also be a safety switch. Had problems with those also.

This happens to me every once in a while, too. There must be 10 levers with safety switches.
