Korean Dogwoood Blooming in October
This happens almost every year around this time. But it never ceases to amaze me that I can get almost a full bloom out of my Korean Dogwood (Cornus Kousa 'Satomi Pink'). Even with the leaves already turning and a few have even fallen off, the tree is almost in full bloom. Now the flowers (yes, I know they're not flowers, they are bracts) aren't quite as profuse as they are when they bloom in June. But still, it's a pretty good bloom for it being almost November!
This tree is really happy. .
