that is pretty sweet, i always thought it would be neat to see a old school nintendo controller wired up as plow controller, would only work for a straight blade, if you have a v plow you would need a nintendo 64 or xbox remote for that. its probably a lot of work for nothing.

Everything looks great GoldPro. I am starting up in the spring, currently getting all of my ducks in a row. I've been fortunate enough to already have lined up a ton of resi contracts. I've been working for one of the largest companies in my area here in Michigan for the past seven years so I've been kind of just putting ideas to the side.

What types of extra services do you do outside of the weekly mowing? Anything with weeding of beds?

We just started the mowing guys on weekly bed maintenance over the last couple of years instead of sending the pruning crews out for a few days a week when they are not as busy throughout the year. So it's something that has become drilled in my head. Even to the point of pulling weeds at customer's that don't pay for the service.

Keep up the good work.

Be careful with performing services that no one is paying for. Sometimes it looks good on your company, and other times its a huge time/money waster.

Yea not to mention people will come to expect it, Then the one time you don't weed the beds when your in a rush people will start to complain. I don't do anything for free.

Yeah, I hear you about that. It's not something that I go out of my way for. More or less some places it's easier, and it does look better on the company from the customers point of view. If you nab one weed that's the only thing in the bed, it goes a long way.
