I was wondering if any one uses a portfolio to send out to prospect customers. If someone might email me an example. I have to business kit from Sean but was wondering if a portfolio would be better. Just looking for examples. Or one to send in with bids. I think i lost out on a couple of jobs because I am the new kid on the block this has been my first season.

Always ask the customer if they mind if you take pictures. Some like their privacy. I try to take pictures of the jobs I do. I don't send them in with a bid. I write a letter of proposal and include a statement that I have pictures of previous work if the prospective client would like to see them.

Thats why websites are great. You can use them as online portfolios and slap the website on your trucks so everyone can see.
