The price of sealant

Hello,

I am curious in figuring out the price of sealant. I use BlackMac which is a tar based sealant.

For example:

If I charge somebody $150 for 800 sq.ft, how much would my product cost?

how much surface can 1L cover?


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ALOT of factors will affect that.

-Your pressure on the pump
-The engine rev speed
-Your walking speed when you spray.
-If it's windy or not.

Some driveways I do is just a quick seal from customers who do it every year so I don't need to spray a lot. Older driveways that haven't been seal in a quiet a while, I will spray it a bit quicker.

800sq/f in Ottawa, no cracks, I would charge 220$ for that and it would cost me around 30-60$ in sealer.

The coverage is around 30sq/f per liter
