Dana 60 conversion in 95 F250

I am looking to do a dana 60 soild axle in my 250 to get rid of that so called good design of the twin I beam 4wd leaf spring haha

Has anyone done this swap? Just trying to decide how long it took you i know where i can get a axle and all the tracking bars as well as the heavyer drive shaft form the tcase out of a 97 f350.

I'd try an auto salvage first.

Even if they don't have the truck, have them keep an eye out for you and call you if one comes in.

yea i already know where i can get the axle for some reason these axles are hot on the market and tough to get luckly for me i got some parts out of a parts truck the kids scraping and gave me a incredible price on it.

I'm about to do the same swap. If at all possible get the whole parts truck. Getting the axle out is easy, haven't put it in yet but from what I gather it is a direct bolt in. The other plus to getting the whole truck is that you can usually buy a truck for not much more than the axle brings, I could sell mine for $1000-1300 easy if I wanted.
