Curbside Leaf Pick Up
The town that I moves to does not offer curbside leaf pick up. Town residents must either put them in their own compost piles or bag them up and put the bags at the curb.
Do any of you provide curbside pick up for you town because they don't provide it for its residents? Is it profitable or more of a pain? Not thinking about doing anything this year but the thought is in my head. Please leave and comments or first hand knowledge about this. Thanks!! Posted via Mobile Device |

We will do pick up for people. Price dependant on amount of debris and we MUST be able to get our truck easily to the pile. Normally it is $75 minimum and goes up from there.
Good luck. |

Are most of these customers of yours to begin with? As in mowing and/or landscaping. Or do you get some leaf pick up only customers? I feel that could be a hit with people who are willing to do removal themselves but are sick of bagging them up. But area dependent on whether the want to pay for it.

A few are regular customers. Most leaf pick up only are not regular customers.
Posted via Mobile Device we will hit these at the end of the day or if we only have a little room left in the truck etc. |

I used to publicize Curbside cleanups A lot but i have since downed it a bit...
They turn into a pain because you end up sucking every Bag, Stick, Rock, toy etc in your loader.... But other than that its not too bad.. Well as long as you have a good-sized box. If you're dumping for free, I say $50 Min. If not more. |

I do curbside pick up. I emphasize to keep debris out of the pile or will be upcharged. I have had no problems with debris. My minimum is $75. I have turned some into full clean ups.

Also trying to look at the ROI with needing to buy a decent large debris loader to complete jobs such as these. I have a large dump trailer but those debris loaders are not cheap. But if I can find a quick and easy place to dump it could be worth it if I could get 20-30+ pickups to start. Still need to think but I appreciate all the info.
