Yes that is a smart idea. Don't make yourself go broke before you even begin. Another suggestion I would have is to purchase a simple handheld blower for cheap and put that savings on that towards a 36". You really can do with a simple homeowners model for the blower and weed whip for a while with no problems. Then once the money starts to come it upgrade them later. Just a thought
