Yes that is a smart idea. Don't make yourself go broke before you even begin. Another suggestion I would have is to purchase a simple handheld blower for cheap and put that savings on that towards a 36". You really can do with a simple homeowners model for the blower and weed whip for a while with no problems. Then once the money starts to come it upgrade them later. Just a thought

You know, that's not all a bad idea...

I see husqvarna makes a model weed whip that uses straight gas instead of mixed. Forgot what the msrp was, but if I can get both that and the blower with engines running straight gas, I could save some time on mixing and generate less waste. Pennies count! I will monkey with that idea a bit and see what I come up with...
