Nice pics Tom, I would like your opinion on the Fuso. I have been ooking at them for a few years and would like to pick one up. My concern has always been towing capacity. How has yours done for you?
Thanks,

The fuso is currently just a plow truck for us. It is too small for the work we currently do. But... it used to be one of our main trucks. Its a good truck, four wheel drive, automatic, great on fuel. We used to tow our skid steers around with it and it did ok... It was definitely not the greatest. Was slow going up hills or on the highway. If your looking at it to be towing a lot id pass on it. But it really depends on what your pulling. Our skids weigh about 9000lbs. I'd say it could handle a 6000lb machine nicely.

Tom
Somewhere in your other forum post, you got your 50 for around 66m$ with the rotating ditch cleaning attachment and two buckets...Do you think the machine has appreciated much for a similarly equipped one today? And how much did the hydraulic ditch bucket cost....I have a price of around sixty eight without the hydraulic mechanism .... The cat 305.5 is a possibility, but I swear the bobcat seems to be just as good...Should I peruse the Cat.? Tony |

Yes look into the cat, its a nice machine. I always tell people to demo a bunch of brands machines. All i can do is share my opinions and experiences. What dealership is closer? I think a good dealership is just as or even more important than the actual machine. Good luck!

Thanks....The Bobcat dealer is closer to the farm, and appears to be a smaller, but nice place....The Cat has been here a very long time, and a long time ago they treated be well, with a repair....
Of course I think you are telling it like it is from your experience, and doing a good job of it...That's why I'm relying on your experience....and you are correct, just the expense of the hydraulic mechanism......I'm hopeful the salesman dealer will give me a better price..That price I quoted included a two yr warranty, which I hope not to need, but nice ayway.....again thanks. To answer answer anthonyp's question, i got quoted 76k about a week ago for essentially the same setup as tom, i think the onlt difference was i had them quote it with an angle blade as well, A91 package so i believe the only other thing was secondary hydraulics and keyless start or something like that.
