What would ya'll consider "clogged"? I have a thin layer of build up in the port, should I not have any? Sorry for all the questions, just want to "exhaust" all options (pun intended) lol

I have seen them with the opening about 50% closed and that is a problem. If the majority of the opening is not blocked no problem. But might as well scrape it out.

All fixed. Turns out it was the gas AND that little screw that needed adjusting BECAUSE of the gas. I was using 87 octane....oops.

The 89 will NOT keep these unit from needing adjustments as time go on.

I haven't found a two stroke yet that doesn't need adjusting from time to time.
