Same to you Jim and my other industry friends.
We have so much to be thankful for, family, friends, health, jobs. Let's not take this for granted because it can change tomorrow.

We used to spend Thankgiving with our uncle down here. Since he died a couple of months ago, we have no family in Cactus Hug. However, at the Park we stay at, the Snowbirds (who are all empty nesters) put on a pot-luck dinner, which causes me to eat and drink too much and feel for it the next day. Would not have it any other way! All the best to you guys and your families.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL...

I've spent a couple of hours cleaning, peeling and chopping parsnips, rutabagas, carrots, turnips, other root veggies and butternut squash to roast in the oven tomorrow with some garlic and olive oil to make a side dish.

Also peeled, boiled and smashed 10 lbs. of potatoes. Other folks will be handling the turkey, stuffing, cornbread, pies, etc, etc.

This will be my grandson Mason's first Thanksgiving. I'm excited.
