You only put about 5000 miles on it a year....
Save some money and slap in the least expensive quality bearings you can find...

Yeah. Works from home.

I'd hate to have it fall apart going down the highway tho.

I might buy the one off ebay for $150.00 and be done with it...looks like I can do the job myself. So that will save me about $150 in labor.

if your gonna spend a lot of money spend it on an acdelco part, its what comes stock when new. otherwise all the aftermarket stuff is cheaper because its not going to last as long, but thats not to say it wont last long enough.

Napa is always more expensive than most other places, but they generally carry a higher quality bearing.

I go to Motion Industries. Check your neighborhood for it and see if you have one close. http://www.motionindustries.com/moti...mii/index.html

They always carry the best quality bearings for a reasonable price. I just did two bearings on one side of my big truck. I think I didn't spend more than 200 or so for two bearings, and two races. (full floating rear axle).

Even Advance auto had bearings for my truck, decent quality, but had to be ordered and were twice the price.

The bearing were also Timken, so I knew I was getting a quality bearing. If you don't have Motion Industries in your area, I'd see if there is any other equivalent shop around.
