older j deere hand helds-hidden treasure

i recently got a pair of older deere trimmers x140 and t105. these are made by misubishi and are of very high quality. better built than any trimmers i have seen. they are both in like new condition. i know parts will be hard to come by. too bad deere didnt market these better.

Deere can get you all the parts you need. I have a xt140 sp. With the edger, hedge trimmer and string trimmer attachments. I bought mine new for around 350 with the attachments. Echo or stihl would be 850-900.

The Deere support should still be superb, that is one of Deere's strong points is service parts and support.

Some of your older deere parts at least on the engine is the same as the current dolmar offerings.
