UPDATE........ thanks to my wife for going through the owners manual I was alerted to the fact that all the safety switches are able to be checked through the ignition module.I was very quickly able to determine that the brake safety was not working because the grommet that holds it in place broke and was not quite holding it in the rite spot.

Good at least it's an easy fix. Check to make sure that the brake lever you pull up that hits the safety switch isn't bent a little from wear and tear. If so, you will end up breaking the switch again. ( Been there done that). I keep an extra one in the truck since they are cheap to get anyways.

Turn key on but don't start engine clutch should engage if not pull the electrical plug from clutch and see if you have 11-12 volts if you get new clutch if not problem is on mower

I looked under the mower and it looks like all the wires got ripped loose and the whole clutch asymbaly is now free spinning is there supposed to be something to keep this from spinning?
