UPDATE........ thanks to my wife for going through the owners manual I was alerted to the fact that all the safety switches are able to be checked through the ignition module.I was very quickly able to determine that the brake safety was not working because the grommet that holds it in place broke and was not quite holding it in the rite spot.

Toro g3 29hp kawi won't crank
Turn key on but don't start engine clutch should engage if not pull the electrical plug from clutch and see if you have 11-12 volts if you get new clutch if not problem is on mower

I looked under the mower and it looks like all the wires got ripped loose and the whole clutch asymbaly is now free spinning is there supposed to be something to keep this from spinning?
