need pump help asap

Well i replaced it all i did find a small sliver of metal i didnt get a chance to run it didnt have enough hear oil. Let uall know in the am thanks for the help again.

Well it gan fine all day but im leaking a little gear oil from tbe drain plug ill try some pipe tape or dope see if yhat fixes it. The old gal lives to fight another day.

The plug about halfway up the housing is used to check the level of the gear lube. Make sure it is at least as high as the plug. I think it uses 80-90 gear oil.
Low gear oil is not good--I once had an incident and stripped the gears. Ended up buying a new pump. Oil had been slowly leaking around the shaft seal for about a year.

yea if you put to much it comes out the breather hole in the top of the dip stick. I could not figure it out I had to call hypro they said the get it all the time
