I'm not tapped out in the city where I an however, in a city of 100k I feel like you can only go so far. I mean look at other companies they have multiple stores. I make a good living but feel like expansion is the only way to make a great living. However I am trying to gauge other peoples thoughts. I appreciate the feed back.

As far as my Foreman goes he would stay local. I have a place to stay while I get things off the ground and a place to store equipment. I am just doing some research as of right now.

The biggest key to success in a new market is to have streamlined internal processes that are replicable in a new market. Will you be able to manage the company the same in the new area? What will happen for estimates? How quickly will you be able to address the concerns of a customer? Can they get the quality of service that your local customers get?

If your service diminishes in quality during the transition to a new area, things won't go well for you. Make sure that you've covered all of your bases before attempting this.
