Identifying Major Faults.

Do those of you that use either the Tempo pulser or the Armada GFL 3000 finding broken wires and wire ground faults have much trouble telling the difference between major and minor faults?

I use a 573dl which provides current strength numerically as well as graphically.

I can tell the severity of the compromise by comparing the strength at the earth ground and fault, this makes finding the major fault first easier.

I haven't used the pulser enough to experiment with it and haven't used the GFL yet.
