Back hoe question

I have a landscape maint. business and toying with the idea of getting a tractor to expand services. My question is backhoe digging force. This is a loaded question but what is a number that you can actually do something with? I'm looking at ripping out shrubs,stumps,etc. Also, Does a backhoe come off easily so you can use other attachments or is this stay on? Iknow these are basic questions so don't be to crtical.
