Walk behinds all the way. You can do everything with a 36 inch walk behind, you can not do everything with a 48 inch or bigger zero turn. Go encore, scag, wright, exmark, or toro, those are all great brands to work with, and dealer support is a big plus if you are just starting out and don't have tools to do the repairs yourself. Go for a 36 inch, hydro, floating deck, with double wheel sulky
