Kohler Command SP 18 Oil Leak-Help
Hi, Cannot fix oil leak. Started with a rocker arm backing off, thought it was a head gasket. Opened it up and found the rocker arm, put it back and running good. The oil leak started then, thought I had not sealed the valve cover. Went back in and ensured that valve cover was sealed. Looking at the bottom where the exhaust manifold attaches I see oil dripping down. Decided it was head gasket anyway, so went in again and replaced head gasket. Cleaned surface very good and torqued to correct values in sequence and in steps. Still have a leak. I did not check the flatness of the head or block. What I'm wondering, do you think it is a warped head or maybe a crack. Has anyone had same issue and if so what did they find.
Thanks Scott Toro Model# 74162 Serial# 240000705 Koler command SP 18 |
