stake body sides (F350)

I went to the dump yesterday and unloaded, im looking to make my truck a flatbed for the winter months, Its a f350 stake body dump (1987) The sides seems to have been on the truck since new, with a few coatings of paint. The stake body pockets will not budge, should i get some oil down in the pocket(s)? Big Hammer LOL? the sides dont want too budge!!! ((except for the back section) anyone ever run into this?

I would hook a chain to the skid steer, put tension straight up, don't yank it. Then work it with a hammer. After soaking a few days in PB blaster
