Do you have a plowsite account? If not you should make one and post up some plowing pics!

That Totem has some incredible gripping strength. The photo where you are gripping that big boulder is impressive. I was wondering when Winter was going to show up in Mn.

Don't have one yet and we really aren't set up for plowing and didn't have a chance being busy up till the very end. I was supposed to pick up a brush cutter, root grapple, 9' v-plow, 102'' snow bucket and a 9' push box last Saturday at auction but I got the flu and was bidding on other things and they did both auctions at the same time and didn't realize it so I missed out! The snow bucket went for 850 bucks! Brand new too... I was so mad at myself for not paying attention.

I was amazed as well, probably why I took so many pictures. Boulder guy thought I was going to be angry for bringing me one that big but he was cleaning out fields for the year and I needed all the rocks we could get onsite so I said bring em'.

Forecasters said 2-5" and we ended up with 10-11" at home and a foot in Eagan on our biggest site.

This isn't associated with AWS but my brother and myself were asked to put up some Christmas lights on a few friend's of mine houses.

We didn't feel like going up on the snow infused slippery roof so we rented this cool little lift for a couple hours.

The lift went up 51' and fit on our T14 trailer with ease.

It appears that residential construction must still be going in your area! Wish it would pick up in mine.

Well it's Wednesday and we had our 3rd largest snowfall in December on record. Got 12-14" of snow. Was out plowing Sunday night from 4pm until about 3am. Took Monday off, Tuesday was -5* so I called it off. Today it got up to 43* so we shoveled all the snow out from behind the last big wall and the rest melted off by the end of the day.

Made a call to see if we could use the 966F on site. Glad they let us use it.

Had to shuffle some sand around and our dump trucks would get stuck and it would have been a hassle.

End of the day, should be done tomorrow.

The cold just messes with the machines too much to push through winter, especially when it drops below 10* steel gets brittle, rocks are slippery, tracked machines turn into bobsleds on hardpacked snow. It's a pain. Had to pop off two the the quick couplers for the hyd lines on the Towtem because they were frozen and the attachment was slow.

Wow. From -5 to 43? That would drive me crazy. It's nice that we enjoy fairly consistent temps here.

That didn't look fun but have to finish.

Did you have the ice underneath all that snow?

I was going to ask you, have you built boulder window wells before?

Just another reason why it might be better where you are...
