Question #9...Kohler Magnum 20 hp
Condition...Engine smoking and leaking oil...oil level OK..14 psi crankcase pressure..

Question #10...Kohler CV750 30 hp DSAI ignition
Condition...Engine running on 1 cylinder...remove and replace the sparkplug lead while the engine. Is running...the dead coil starts firing again...runs another hour and it stops firing..RnR the lead and its firing again...

Question #11...Kohler CV740...DSAI ignition..
Condition...No spark while cranking...however if you cycle the key quickly back to the run position...it will start and run fine...replaced key switch...no change...

Question #12....Kohler Command CV25
Condition...Not charging...new stator...flywheel..and regulator...12 volts to middle wire on regulator.
Still not charging...

Question #13...Exmark Lazer Z with 27 hp Kohler
Condition....Little Billy got up early on the day after Thanksgiving to buy a new Lazer and get one free.
He only needed one so he stored the other one in his shed for 3 years...in the 3rd year the Lazer he was using started having a few issues...so....he pulled his new 3yr old mower out of the shed and serviced the battery and the carb.....life was good....
At 10 hours the engine threw a rod...the welch plug fell out of the crank and the engine lost oil pressure..
Is this a warranty ???

I have seen a couple of these. Gasket between carb and A/C back plate not sealing and the air from the bulb isn't making it into the bowl to push the fuel up the nozzle. Have seen a warped back plate and a pinched gasket.
Can't be a bad carb, I know where they are made...

Either broken/worn rings or breather valve is sticking or gunked up/clogged.
