For the love of god please don't put stacks on your pickup! At that point your bed becomes completely useless.

no it wont. i need a toolbox, and i am having a custom toolbox that is usable wrap around them. So it will be used efficiently. we also bought a cabover dump with mpg much better than this. you and like 10 people have told me not to on other forums, but my friend has them and another guy i know who has them is selling them to me. i will still have 1/2 foot more spacer than the shortbed with the toolbox.

Let me give you some advice, and it is more than worth what you are paying for it. I wish someone would have told me when I was your age. Don't waste your hard earned money on all that. You already have a nice truck without all that add on stuff. At some point more sooner than later probably, you will outgrow this stage and realize what a waste it all is. When I bought my latest duramax it had a big loud exhaust, chrome wheels, a touch screen programmer, etc. I took all that stuff off, especially if using as a work truck you will look much more professional with a stock looking and sounding truck.

alright, the tool box idea would work, but i just thinks stacks ruin trucks, but that is just my 2 cents.

Bout all you will be able to use the tool box for is baking a pizza. And just curious how you came up with 20 grand for pickup at 17? Not knocking or doubting. When I was 17 and still lived at home I about coulda swung it, but now I'm 22, have a house, mow 40 lawns and farm a little bit and I can't afford anywhere close to a 20 thousand dollar pickup haha.

last time i checked it was over 110,000. Its just what i wanted, it has rubber floors, power locks, and power windows. I will be honest, the power, and rubber combo sold me.

I scored by it costing around 20k. I still have some to pay off, but that will be done by the end of the winter. I put a good amount down.

I have been working almost full time(still got school) for over 2 years interning/working at a golf course on the grounds crew for around $11 and hour. During the summer i work an average of a 10-14 hour day there. Overtime is x1.5, and starts after 40 hours a week. Then i have been working on my own/for my parents landscape design and install business since i was 9 or 10. and started out making like 20 to 30 dollars a day, to 15 an hour now. I work for them after my first job, and when i have a day or two off. Work at golfcourse ends around 4, i work for my parents after that till its dark. so around 6 to 8.

While i could play a varsity sport all season, i prefer not to because i LOVE working in the turf and landscape industry. In fact, due to how well i work/how quick i learn, i have the opportunity to work at Merion Golf Course this summer, that is where they are having the US OPEN. I hope to either expand/take over my parents biss., start my own, or super at a top 100 golf course.

Not to bad for being 17. I will probably be the only one still in highschool working at MERION. I was the only 14/15 year old working at the current golf course. lol

Nice truck. I'm 18 and wish i could afford it. I assume you've read the forums and know that the stock heads will only take so much so make sure you keep enough money for the head studs and anything else to go along with that. I agree with these guys, if you rice it up you all you have is a mall crawler. and forget resale value once you do all of that.
