Question #18...Generac 27hp vert...
Condition...While mowing the side of a mile long ditch..aluminum pieces flew out of the oilfilter side of the engine... The engine started vibrating and when I tried to add oil it came out the hole in the side.. Name That Failure..

Question #19...Briggs 6 hp Quantum pushmower
Condition...Push the primer 3 times..engine runs for a few seconds and shuts off... Engine will continue to run if you keep pushing the primer bulb.. Name That Failure..

Could be a cracked intake tube/manifold, or bad O ring.Could be a partly clogged bowl nut/jet. I've also ran into loose manifold/ shot gasket. Could be a gas cap not venting.
