Did my last batch of clean ups today! Excited for cleaning up the mowers and putting them away for the winter tomorrow!

Nice trailer! You may wanna extend your side gate, looks like it'll be pretty steep as it is.

Ya that gate needs a little length added to it. I tested it on the curb of my lawn and was fine there but when you put it down on pavement its like a drop off...

Exmarkboy, I love the ferris. You probaly saw that i have a TT also and it is soo much easier to use than the TT. The crank on back for easy height adjustment is really nice compared to pulling those pins for exmark's adjustment. The stripes it puts down is incredible, it puts down beautiful stripes on just about any type of grass, but it does have a shallow deck and definitely clumps alittle when grass is really tall where the exmark leaves a spotless cut 99% of the time. Overall I would buy a Ferris over the TT just because of the features.

I agree I run the 48'' and it is so easy to use and work on I honestly don't think I will buy any other wide area walk behind ever.

hows the durability of it?? i was concerned, being it has a 10 gauge deck. Is it as fast as the TT at full speed??? and lastly, if regular, weekly lenth grass is wet, will it still cut well?? or does it only clump in real tall grass??

On mine I've seen no durability issues, their built like tanks, and for me on weekly and bi-weekly lawns I have no issues with clumping.

CFLS Equipment and Work 2012

Never had a problem with frame/deck except for the 2 rollers that let the deck glide on to go up and down. I've have problems with the deck being too soft and the rollers would dig into the framing making the deck become slightly crooked. Easy fix by bolting more metal to it almost every year, ill try and get a pic of what I'm talking about tmr. Speed is same as TT if you use those thum controls for a boost. I have problems with those because I have screws in my wrist and it doesn't like to bend the way it needs to bend making it alittle painful to us the mower ha. I think it mostly jump clumped on real tall grass Personally I would definitely purchase another ferris over the TT, the ferris just has much better features and stripes awesome. TT is just clump free and really now convenience to it at all
