Surely you guys are not using a stethoscope on dirt? I am more of a probe kind of guy when wetness is present.
Next thing I know you guys will be claiming to use ultra-sound location. |

I've tried stethoscopes on seeping valves with not much luck. If I can't hear it, it's not weeping.

stethascope's are awesome! I've found plenty of weaping valves that wouldn't have been able to find with out it.
though the accoustical leak detection owns all. I typically use the meter with a few min test.. |
