Fenceline spraying
Has anyone used a motorized sprayer to apply to fencelines. Can you just operate one nozzle or do you just use the hose with one hand and try to operate with the other? One handed might make for an interesting ride because it is not level ground. I have about 5 miles and thought it would be easier than one guy driving and the other pulling the hose. Thanks.

I spray fence lines I use my T3000 and use a tank the i built that goes where the tray goes
I use the hand wand but with a T3000 you have a steering wheel and a foot pedal To hold your speed So it works real well Charles Cue |

Thanks Charles. How many feet of fenceline can you spray per gallon? Can you control the steering wheel on bumpy ground? Thinking the hand levers would require both hands, making hose spraying impossible.

I have a zspray. If I needed to spray a fence line I'd just use the outside nozzle. You'd need to go down both sides I would think depending on how wide a band you need. Using 1 nozzle would get you 1-2 foot band on each side.
Theoretically you would be able to spray you calibrated rate. If you are set at 1/3 gallon per 1000 then you should be able to do one side of fence at 1500 ft per gallon. I'd figure less since you say it's bumpy. |

My sprayer is calibrated at 1 gal per th but we try to only do a narrow band just to eliminate weed eating When spraying i only travel about 2.5 mph so bumps are not a big problem I do spyay some of my pasture fields and do the fences lines to but only with 3 way I have no experience with hydro sprayer but other say that they do it Charles Cue |

Would you be able to get it all from one side Charles? BTW, what's a hydro spray? Are you happy with turfco?

Sounds like less stress and better control to use a backpack or a handheld pump up sprayer.. The spray boom we used to use on a perma green would scare me to use it on a fenceline with round up..
