Trimstar deck
Thinking of buying a trimstar. Can someone tell me how deep the deck is on these mowers? I'm not too keen on shalow decks since I bought a BOP machine. Nice mower but clogs easily.

The TrimStar deck is 4" deep and available in 36", 48" and 54" width cuts. It is the same deck that is used on our Fastrak and Super Duty Fastrak Zero Turn units. The ride-on units are able to cut at a much faster ground speed than the walkbehind purely by drive design. They just go faster. If the deck is able to keep up with the rider you'll find no issues with it when used on a walkbehind. very easy and quick height adjustment, and the steering is very easy on the hands.

There should be a promo price on that unit that's a couple of hundred lower. You can check with the two dealers in your area. There's Cascade Garden Ctr in Eugene and Linn Benton Tractor in Tangent. Brian O
