Is timing more important than mesage with Door hangers?

Did door hangers last year and landed some sweet jobs from them. Alot of people saw the name and logo. This year im going to do hangers and then go knock on some doors.

I advertised both. Best job I landed was a home owner had a pool installed and needed 2 zones of irrigation added some heads repaired, plants, mulch, and 5000 sq ft of sod. In and out in 3 days with one day rain delay. That one job paid for the door hangers.

Door hangers sound like something that can really pay off if placed in the right neighborhood. It seems though, that alot of times the neighborhood you will target with your hangers will already have someone doing their lawn, so better be on your game when it comes to estimating.

This makes it all the better. I have left hangers while a crew was pulling up to the property. You never know who is unhappy with their current service. Most of the maintenance calls I got were from unhappy clients.

Yeah thats kinda what i have noticed too. Especially early in the season there is lots of turnover. it also happens with snow plowing, especially after a big storm
