Redmax Stick Edger and Redmax Maxtreme

What do you all think of these systems. I am either going to get the Maxtreme or just a dedicated stick edger. Also, what is the difference between the curve shaft edger and the straight? Is it just a power transfer difference? I am not a huge stihl fan but I am open to persuasion. Thanks guys!
