How to bid commercial jobs?
Do you just drop off a proposal? Should you ask permission first or just do it and give it to them?
When do contracts usually run? I am assuming any and all times. |

if you have to ask how to put a bid in for a commercial account. You might need to learn the industry more. Commercial is not for everybody, most of the times you have to have contacts.

That's very possible, but I'm talking small scale accounts; a gas station, small business, etc. Not apartment complex size accounts.

in that case, go inside of the establishment and ask to speak with the owner/manager. They are the ones to help you. Make sure your dressed for the part. They might have you give them an estimate instead of a bid. You would treat this just like you would a residential. if they want a bid, write one up (do you know how to do that?) submit it. if they dont contact you back after the bid is submitted, that usually means you got underbid.
