25 or 23 HP Kawasaki Engine FH721 or FH680 pics of Rebuild all the way through.
Just got several Kits in and am building 4 engines and will post pics of the build all the way through. Stay Tuned. And I will take good pics of the hash marks so slapper will be happy.
25 or 23 HP Kawasaki Engine FH721 or FH680 Because of all the calls on kits I put one together. They will work for the FH721D FH680D or FH721V FH680V Have to call me to make sure I send the right gasket ![]() Engine Kit cost $155.00 |

Hmmm....no pics yet..????
As a former Kawasaki Dealer...all I see is about $90 worth of parts... As a currently certified Kohler Expert Technician...I can't wait to see these engine builds... Can't wait to use the Zoom feature on my new toy...

Cool! Looking forward to the rebuilds. I have a 680V that I'm planning to rebuild before mowing season, so I'm definitely interested in how it goes.
What all are you expecting to do and/or replace with the rebuild? Gaskets obviously, but what else? Pistons, bearings, bushings, etc...? |

If he is using Standard size rings...they are double the price of the oversize rings for some reason. Just got some for a customer...both standard and oversized. The oversized were 30 per set, while the standard were 60 per set MSRP. I called Kawasaki to ask about it but got nowhere with that. So standard rings for a single engine are 120 alone.

Just some constructive observations....
NEVER use a high speed die grinder to clean aluminum blocks... It dishes the aluminum...causing headgasket leaks and sump leaks.. If the block gets dished badly...the block will be junk...unusable.... The reason I point this out is that over the years ...many customers have called on me to straighten out poorly rebuilt engines... They figured that they could save money by getting it done by a novice engine builder..then they bring it to me.. More often than not...it was a waste of my time and their money...the block gouged beyond repair..
