Its free, easy to use, and most people log on at least once a day for their personal profile anyway.... It really cant hurt to try it! You really dont have anything to lose. Ive gained a few jobs through fb, and at the least, now people know more of what i do, so i expect more jobs to come. Try it, if you dont like it, you only have about 15 min invested.

I just started this last week and i bought an ad. you can set this limit on how much you will pay per day for advertising. so far my ad has been seen by 56,000 ppl tonight but only a few clicks on the ad itself. we will see how business goes but its free and worth a shot!

so far in three day i have had a few likes but not as many as i would have thought but like i said it only been up a few days and maybe more will come and maybe they wont. i set a budget to only spend $5 a day for a week to see how it did. i also specified in the bidding that i would pay 66cents per 1000 impressions that it made. now i dont know if you up your dollar amount what it does but i wasnt going to blow $100 a day on it if i know i would'nt work. you can set how long you want to run the campaign for i opted to do a week.

Just don't be surprised if all you get is a bunch of effete gossips, narcissists, stalkers, and braggarts calling!

Facebook is great because you can add pics of your work the day you complete the job in 2 secs, makes keeping a current gallery way easier

I am recently trying it for the first time. If clients liked the page it could be a good way of getting promotions and updates to them. It's just a matter of people caring enough to do so. Also a lot of lawn care customers where I live are 80 year old widows. Not the facebook type. I'll have to give you an update in a year or so.

Ok, im trying to figure out Facebook, and have zero experience with it. To get everything set up, do I first set up the regular page, and then set up the Buisness page? I want to keep this facebook account strictly related to the lawn care buis only. Any help would be appreciated.
Once its set up, does facebook automatically integrate with the search engines like Bing, so that my page will get hits if they search for lawn care in my area? I dont plan to post daily on this, but would like to utilize it to open up my advertising a bit, list services, post updates and seasonal discounts...stuff like that.
