About 8 times. Mostly nuisance events. Out of the 8 times I plowed my full route 2 times and one of those was almost questionable on whether to do the full route or not.

The first snowfall we got was 4", so that was the only real storm we had.

But, in all honesty I figured that we were going to have less snow this year than last, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad.

I'm also lucky enough also to have a couple of seasonal accounts, so as far as I'm concerned, this winter made up for last winter where I barely squeezed a profit on those accounts.

How is your upcoming season looking PE?

Clearing snow.

This winter we have had about seven snow falls that did really need attention. So it has been kind of a good year to be honest. We still have a month and a half of our snowiest weather ahead of us if it keeps up. I love working four days a month and having the rest of the month to spend time with my family and to do projects.

Hope everyone's summer is going well so far!

Busy, busy, busy here. Got the farmhouse mulched and a new statuary in the center circle! It's looking great out there and the homeowner is contemplating doing the local garden walk next year!

Photos below in my Facebook album. I might post a few in this thread for giggles, but time management has been my biggest thing.

Good luck the rest of the summer!

Crazy year, one of the longest seasons ever last year.

Haven't been posting in my thread due to time constraints and focusing on my Facebook page.

The farmhouse got the second hitching post ledge completed last fall. I'm stoked at the out-come. It means that the sidewalk is officially complete.

The local garden walk society has caught wind of the property and is currently talking to the homeowner about using it for their "premier" garden during their garden walk festival in June! It would be some great local exposure, even if it didn't generate any business.

Full list of photos are found here.

Winter has been fairly non-eventful. Just resting my back, working on getting my web-site up and running in the next week, and focusing on expansion. We'll see how it goes!

Good luck this year everyone!

Ya, I hope you get to feeling better too.

It's tough work and I'm at the point of swallowing my pride and start trusting people to do the work.

I guess babysitting the crew is better than tearing myself up even worse. I want to be able to play with my son as he gets older. It's tough enough as it is right now and he's only 5.

And before anyone starts flaming me for that comment, I grew up on a farm, worked my butt off physically with any job I've ever had, and did all the work myself in the first 4-5 years of my biz.

I feel that I'm to the point that I can pass on some of the work to the laborers and just make sure they don't over-exert themselves like I have.
