just scored 300 gal lesco skid for $500! what kind of gun to buy?

Like stated went to pick this thing up.. got it back home and for the money I'm impressed.... I've got the motor running now.and the d59 is def pumping liquid back into the tanks..... I gotta wire.up the hanney hose to see if it works... the tanks have mechanical agitation on the 200 side and.jet on the 100 gal side.... under the tanks the frame is rusted some but until I pull the tanks off I don't know how extensive it.is.. metals easy to replace though. Now question is... what kind of gun to buy... almost all my Apps will be on Bermuda... few zoysia and even a few fescue.... I need a good all around gun so that if I wanted to do shrubs it would work as well....thanks

Lawn and tree guns generally are not interchangeable although I have sprayed lawns with fungicide and insecticide with a JD9 and another small T/S gun I have.

You can spray shrubs to some extent with a chemlawn lawn gun although not ideal.

Buy two guns. Chemlawn gun and a JD9 or knockoff. Shouldn't have to spend more than 150 - 200 for both.

Sounds like the mag 1 gun is what you want. We use them, they are great, they are a bit on the heavy side for doing lawns but you get used to the weight. All you have to do is switch out the head and calibrate.

Obama will be banning guns. Hope he leaves the chemlawn/Lesco ones out of the legislation. . That's the ones we like.

The chemlawn/lesco have 4 different nozzles (tips) depending on what you want for gallons per minute. Each company has their own color coding. Rittenhouse has both. We spray at one gal pet minute and use a customized tip where we plug some of the holes. We experimented a bit and like the control we get from that pattern to spray nicely right up to the edge of the lawn against flower beds.
