pg magnum hopper

bought a new pg magnum aprox 6rs ago and have been happy with the machine in general. replaced the motor last yr which is expected with the amount of hrs.

the only thing I have been unhappy with is the hopper---throws too much product to the right. 3rd hole never stays at the required position and the "key" for hopper may indicate 14, but gauge on machine will indicate 15.

has anyone customized the magnum with a different hopper (spyker?) to eliminate these problems

thanks in advance

Fix the third hole adjuster so it stays in place.
Or why not put a piece of duct tape half-way over the third hole on the Lesco spreader, (the left hole), as it controls the spread to the right. Cut away a bit of the duct tape with a razor blade until it spreads perfect. Or install a flat piece of plastic with a screw for the same purpose.

Adjustments with a one hole spreader are probably more difficult.

No spreader spreads evenly if there is a buildup of fert on the impeller fins.
