stone slinger
Any succssful stone slinger businesses out there?
In my concrete business i could really benefit from one installing porous fill under slabs. I wonder if anyone has had success in marketing them as a service?

It seems thats the way that they fill all the slabs for the Jagoe homes around this area. Somebody is doing pretty well for themselves with it, guess that's the secret get in with a big housing contractor.

You could use it in the winter to deliver salt into shipping containers

Around here they just mount the stone slingers on the back of a regular dump truck

I've seen the guys who do sidewalks and curbs for the town use the slingers to throw topsoil too when all the forms are pulled

you can get a used slinger body for 5,000-15,000 easy. Of coarse it will be used and have issues here and there but i would get a used one over a 80k new body and then try to find work for it.
