Grassmasterswilson, I think you meant to say we were unlucky in NC. I hate the little critters and what they do to lawns. I have seen little success with castor oil products but what works for some people doesn't for others.

I read the website info. The only thing I like is-- that it is granular. To me...that means it can be conveniently carried in my truck, behind the seat or even in the bed of my pickup (plastic bottle, rain or shine). So I can apply it without mix or mess. No need to add it to a backpack or hand sprayer and add water. Application probably takes no more than 10 minutes.

I don't have the best results with talprid. Have been looking for something else. Let me know if someone does a trial on mole scram. Thanks

I used Mole Scram about 4 years ago when it first came out, it was in a black 5 gal bucket . The active was castor oil I believe. I do remember the product had a high moisture content and was tricky getting it to flow out of a lesco spreader in the fall. Would be tough in summer with humidity.
The lawn I applied to only had moles in rear and possibly helped? They eventually left. However, I do remember that bucket was spendy for what it was and for the low footage covered. Its basically a spreadable mole repellent, like liquid fence. Ed |

I think it's like 24.00 for enough to do 7ooo sqft now.

Ive used it and it works great! I apply at the higher rates. It only works for about 3 months, so repeat aps very needed. Costly too, so I only have a couple customers who use it.
