Much better, your toro doesn't have the blade tip speed like the commercial mowers.

Good point, your needs may change, so when you are shopping, you may want to consider whether the mower you are looking at lets you go up in deck size, if you want to swap it in the future.

a 60 inch deck will save time.. also if you have a resedential zturn now and get a full blown commercial 60'' it will move a lot faster as well as the bigger deck so if you can pick up enough accounts it will pay for itself...dont be scared to look around for a used zturn or a trade in from the dealer

Look at the 2013 Husqvarna MZT (not the MZ).

I guess I have some studying to do.
So far the mowers that look like a good deal to me would be snapper pro, bobcat, gravely, and maybe husqvarna. Most guys in my area run exmark. I feel like they are a little pricey for what they are. Every now and then I will see hustler and scag. I think I have seen john deere once.

Best zero turn for $6500?
I bought a ferris IS 700 commercial with a 52 inch ICD deck, 24 Kawasaki, and it has suspension. Out the door for $6300. It should work good for what you are wanting.

I'm a huge Ferris guy and not to derail this thread but tell me about this 700 series machine. Just checked their site and it looks like the replacement for the 1500. Interested to know about this machine.

It took the place of the 1500. They are promoting the ferris to get more of them on the market. I am glad I got mine. You want to know more just ask.

Ferris and Snapper Pro are both great mowers and in that price range.
