Winter Yellowing Lawn
The lawn shown has just recently begun turning a bit yellow. It is a mix of all Tall Turf Fescues and a very little mix annual rye for winter color. The lawn goes through a good fertilization and lime regiment and even had ironite sprayed on it in early fall.
I feel like our weather lately has caused this yellowing. It has been rainy and cloudy. we have had a fair about of rain here. Should I apply some more fertilizer or iron or just leave it be? |

I start to see some of this in late winter. It always appears that some cold weather and Fert being used up is the culprit.
Everything seems to recover with our round 1 Fert app |

If you have done your nitrogen treatments, check about fungus. This is the typical culprit if sufficient fertilizers have been applied.
