How much do smaller trailers weigh?

I have a rather old boat trailer which is now a 4x8 flatbed. I will rebuild the flatbed into a 5x8. I hope it can handle my Toro 520xi garden tractor with a 60" deck that weighs 1300 pounds together. I have thought of building or buying a larger under 3000 pounds rated trailer. Does anyone know how much smaller trailers weigh? I am parting out my 2wd 93 F150 and will save the front spindles and hubs for a trailer. I have an 09 Ranger 2wd with 2.3 Mazda 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual and the factory 3.73 rear. I am considering swapping in a 4.10 rear axle from a supercab 4 cylinder Ranger to make it better at towing.
