Kawi FJ180 question
I have an older JD JX75 push mower that has a FJ180 on it. Last season it started blowing oil out of the exhaust. I have heard that these motors eat head gaskets and I've heard that that is what the problem is. I was thinking more along the lines of rings on the engine. I was also thinking about just replacing the engine since its about 8 years old. Any suggestions? Thanks

Kawa engine
Have you done a compression test? If you do an engine replacement, be sure to check your engine model and engine code numbers. I replaced an engine and was almost sold the wrong engine (needed engine with a bbc crankshaft).
