That was the exact mower i started with, same year, engine, deck, etc.... I sold mine for 5500 with 250 hours. Kinda felt like i let it go for about 500 to cheap but it is what it is.

Decent mower, left a great stripe on dry average growth, 23HP had good power, very maneuverable which i thought was it's best feature.

I say 4K to 4500 and you would have yourself a good mower for a good price.

Exmark replaced that mower with the pioneer X series or S series (i dunno for sure) the higher one of the 2 that they offer in the pioneer series. I think once again Exmark denigrated its product line. The HP was a good mower at a good price.

I'm all about the deals so work what you can if you like it.

One is a demo bro and the other is a walk behind, either way you slice it they are both still over priced. You sure do pump Exmark on here....

That's a demo vantage and walk behind. Not even close to a HP. I can get a brand new vantage out of the crate for 7100 if anyone is interested.

I'll give you the demo on the vantage, although in my opinion a demo of a vantage which is like what a 2010 or newer is better than any 08 walkbehind.

as for the walkbehind. that's new price, NOT demo. I'd take it over the 08 HP the OP is talking about. I use to own a TT HP 52" deck as well so don't tell me it's because I've never demo'd or owned one.

I push my brand no more than others push there brand. as far as them being over priced. well there was a thread not to long ago I posted in about how prices per brand seem to be different in different locations. you think exmark is expensive? they are the CHEAPEST price wise in my neck of the woods. the other brands I have access to are much much more. scag, walker and wright stander. and in my opinion none of those are any better than the exmarks and toros I have except for walkers ghs.

for me to get anything similar in a scag or wright stander with the links I posted. I'm looking at 10+ k. scags and wright standers are NOT worth the extra money. they are no different or better than toro or exmark or any other brand for that matter when it comes down to what counts the most, dependability and quality of cut.

just my .02 cents.

We know what it is. Yardguy28 gets side tracked often. He's just saying he would get something different, newer for the same asking price of the mower in question.

I actually thought since he said exmark HP we were talking about the turf tracer hp.

so now that I have the right mower. I think you could do a little better on the price. I can get a brand new one for $7500.

personally I'd look at something different though but I know we all have different wants and needs. I'd go with that vantage I posted earlier if funds had to be followed strict. I personally prefer 100% new equipment but that's just me.

price isn't bad overall but it is 5 years olds. for another $2700 you could have a brand new one is what I'm seeing.
