Pearson Landscape
Greetings. Gonna start this tread out to show work complete and equipment etc. This is a great place to share ideas and information on just about anything so it's time for me to share as well. Here's a picture of the plow rig. Not getting too much plow work but it sure is handling the salt runs quite well.

I run almost the exact same setup. I have 3 of those white GMC trucks. All with BOSS blades. One snow ex and one salt dog spreaders. I put different tires on though. I hate those factory chevy/gmc tires. What year is that truck and miles? Assuming its a 3/4 ton

The truck tailgate is going to get lettered and that's it and that will get done in the spring along with the enclosed trailer and dump trailer. I waited untill I knew exactly what my logo was going to look like and that took many back and forths with my graphic designer untill we found somethat that can easily be placed on trucks, trailers, uniforms, envelopes, invoices, etc... For me its all about keeping things clean and simple. No truck wraps or anything like that. As for the wideout, I have only gotten to use it for about 2 hours and it developed a bad relief valve so I had a limp wing all night. It was a warranty issue and taken care of pronto by my installer. As for the dodge, well, she got old, worn out, wasn't 4x4 so she had to go. No use keeping a truck that isn't gonna be on the road doing work.
As for equipment, mowers are scag 48" hydro walk behinds. A lot of my residential people that I have use me because of that fact alone. They hate seeing guys on their property with 61" ride ons. They wiz around leaving ruts, and are in and out in 10 min. It really depends on what your target market is. For me, it's hi-end residential where I spend atleast 45 min. a house. If I had large commercial lots, then heck yea use the 61" or the 72". The hand helds and blowers are all going to be Stihl. I have some echo stuff but I'm phasing it out. This too was a decsion based upon local shops to service, fix, and get parts. The truck is a 2009 GMC 2500 work truck model and it has just over 24k on it. It's a great truck. No problem towing the enclosed or the dump trailer fully loaded. Just needs an extra leaf in the back to help with the squatting issue when it's got the plow on and the spreader is fully loaded.

Well it's finally spring. Got the trailer cleaned out and everything serviced and ready to go. Just need some warmer weather to get this season rolling. Can't wait to get out there.
