depending how many wires you need, get some 7-way trailer wire and plug ends. I wired my rear plow up that way and then used quick connect plugs like these for the power/ground cables. Similar setup might work for you.

The 7-way trailer wire was like $2.60/foot and the connectors were a couple bucks, I priced it out and it was well under half the cost of getting an OEM truck side harness. Again, thats for a rear plow, pretty simple up and down but you might be able to rig something up I don't know much about salters.

Hey sorry Austin, a trailer plug would probably work best I am not a huge fan of the buyers connections

You are definitely a good example for new guys trying to get into the industry. Looking at your work has taught me a thing or two and watching your fleet grow has given me a better idea on what I want to get two. Going the route of getting a dump trailer then the dump is definitely the way I plan to go now.

WOW Thanks! ya little by little takes alot of time and work and it really never slows down! The dump trailer served me well alot in the beginning and is still used alot in the summer

Wow I just went through this whole thread and I feel like I just ran a marathon. Anyways, its great to see where your business has gone in the past few years. I'm 20 right now and started out small last year very similar to you and hope to at some point get to where you are. Have a good rest of the winter, hoping for snow.

Thanks! I really enjoy that people go through the thread and hope they take something useful from it. I am by no means close to perfect just taking things as they go. I try to keep it updated as much as possible I slacked off a bit in 2012 tho!
